Rumsfeld Says He Was Misunderstood on Iraq-Al Qaeda
Rumsfeld seems to have actually spoken the truth, then ofcourse makes an about-face to try and cover it up. The fact remains however, when asked the question and providing an immediate answer he states no strong connection between Saddam-Iraq and al Qaeda existed.
So Iraq is part of the war on terror how? Well, I suppose it is today since we've created so many terrorists there and it is easier for al Qaeda to stike America now since we're in their backyard these days. Fun!
