Warlord named Somali president - Oct 10, 2004
I wonder if this means Somalia is about to turn the corner out of the turmoil that has ravaged this country for way too long. Should be interesting to see if the Bush administration will take any supporting action or ignore it since the country has no natural resources we want.

If you are a resident of Florida, and don't want to piss God off you better NOT vote for Bush. Yikes!

Michael Badnarik for President
Libertarian Party
Kerry, Bush and Nader aren't the only candidates on the ballot and certainly aren't the only ones polling with any significance. Turns out the Libertarian's Michael Badnarik is polling as high as 5% in places like New Mexico and he's on the ballot in more states than Nader.
I've always been interested in some of the positions this party takes - I guess I like a party that makes a strong stance and sticks with it. Check him out and while you're at the site, check out the "Are you a Libertarian?" Quiz. It may surprise you.

Rumsfeld Says He Was Misunderstood on Iraq-Al Qaeda
Rumsfeld Says He Was Misunderstood on Iraq-Al Qaeda
Rumsfeld seems to have actually spoken the truth, then ofcourse makes an about-face to try and cover it up. The fact remains however, when asked the question and providing an immediate answer he states no strong connection between Saddam-Iraq and al Qaeda existed.
So Iraq is part of the war on terror how? Well, I suppose it is today since we've created so many terrorists there and it is easier for al Qaeda to stike America now since we're in their backyard these days. Fun!

Is it really necessary to shoot at them?! Geez, one of them was mauled by a tiger. A TIGER!

Poland's troops to leave Iraq next year
Poland's troops to leave Iraq next year
"Don't forget Poland!" Thats what Bush kept tyring to impress upon viewers of the last debate. Now it turns out the Poland will be forgetting us sooner rather than later. How embarassing for the President. This also brings up another matter, Poland says 2 1/2 years is enough time in Iraq, but we still don't know how long will be enough for the President.
