It could be the launch of "iTV" (or whatever it will be called!).
I've already been doing something similar. I had DVDs ripped onto my iMac. But I wanted to watch them in the living room on the projector with my PowerBook. Well, I used DVD player on the PowerBook to play the DVD folder/files on the iMac over the AirPort network. iTV will just be an extension of the functionality that already exists.
What of a resurrection of Newton? In some type of iAppleBerry email/phone/iPod wireless device?
Perhaps it's more teasing for the release of Leopard.
Or the anticipated MacBook Thin (a revamp of the totally retro 12" PowerBook G4).

It's all about iTV, as soon as that sucker comes out I am buying one!
