Although I find Moore's films somewhat enjoyable, I am wondering what angle he takes with this one.

Is it worth the price of a movie ticket?

I think this movie can definitely be an eye-opening experience for many Americans simply unaware how the rest of the world approaches healthcare.

I thought the movie lacked a certain something to give it more edge, but it still definitely makes a point. Moore takes kind of a simple approach of comparing and contrasting the US approach versus Canada, Great Britain and France. He shows a story of an American who needs to choose which finger to have replaced - one for $12,000 or the other for $60,000. Then he shows a Canadian who had all of his fingers reattached without costing him a dime. The movie had plenty of stories of Americans dying from poor treatment or lack of any treatment whatsoever, with the Canadians, Brits and French laughing at Americans having to pay a bill to stay in the hospital.

In the end the America system - started by Nixon - is centered on making money which doesn't line up with keeping people healthy. Period. I can't wait to move to Canada.
