Rogers is totally ruining my iPhone day. The plans totally suck - though the wifi access is a little saving grace - but at least I'd still have a reason to buy something from an Apple Store. Which is by far my favorite store and shopping experience. But now thats gone! How could Apple let it get this far out of control that they decide to not participate?! I get it, but damn't.

That's bullshit. Do you - dare I say it? - need an iPhone? Maybe an iPod Touch will satisfy your need for gadgetry without bending you over and fucking you (in the bad way) in the process!
Get on the family plan. Then you'll get 50% off your rates.
Plus, don't forget, you're not limited to the published "iPhone" plans, you can mix and voice plan with data plans.
And have you checked out Optus pricing in Australia? Not only is it confusing, it's far more expensive!
No, I don't NEED the iPhone, but I WANT the iPhone. And with Bill's employee discount and the much improved data plan offer its not such a bad deal. I'll just have to suffer having such a great phone with me.
I've already downloaded applications so they're ready to go when I finally get one. Not sure it will be tomorrow or not.
