I don't know if I can actually give up my BlackBerry.

Are you freaking kidding me?!!

Yeah, I know, it's terrible.

But I've had BlackBerry on SureType for ever! I don't know if I can use a qwerty keyboard (in fact, I cannot!; I've helped a friend with his BB Curve, and it's just weird), and for certain a virtual qwerty keyboard would be worse!

Maybe if Apple put on a virtual SureType keyboard, then I would be able to use it?

Plus, Rogers Corporate has no plans to implement or support Exchange ActiveSync, so, for us corporate users, no iPhone. BlackBerry and BES only.

If I got one for personal use, I would lose work email. (Which wouldn't really be a bad thing...) But it may end up becoming an expensive iPod.

And as for iPod, I've only had a Shuffle, and only the 1 GB version. I've never felt lacking with this. I just cannot envision why I would need anything more.

Is this counter-cultural? I'm not consuming?

No, that totally makes sense. Besides, the iPhone is still a new product, who knows what it will be like in a couple years.
