Scott - road trips for me have been more about the final desitination and long drives can get pretty damn boring. Have you ever drove through Wisconsin at night!!
Bill and I went to Windsor for a friend's wedding this weekend, lost of fun seeing friends and family. But it should be noted - I did drive a bit more than half of the entire trip.
Erik, let me tell you, I have driven though some immensely boring parts of this country before :) But I never could sleep in a car, I like to look around (and usually I'm the one driving anyone)
Let me tell both of you, most of your country is BORING to drive through, especially on that fantabulous interstate system.
I feel for you Erik! I've driven from Saskatchewan to Southern Ontario about a dozen times, and all but two of those times was through Wisconsin....YAWN!
And the worst part about getting to Windsor is driving through Detroit. What a dump! I hope you had a gun under your seat! ;-)
